Alejandro’s father\u003cbr\u003eworked as a laborer on coffee farms for twenty years before being able to purchase his own land; Alejandro purchased his first plots about 15 years ago, planting them with caturra and bourbon varieties. Over the years, he’s purchased more land, and has planted pacamara as well. Alejandro and America work alongside 10-12 other paid pickers on their farm.
